Juan de Valenzuela

Juan de Valenzuela was an abbot of the Montserrat monastery, whose familial connection inspired his nephew, Pedro Solís de Valenzuela, to establish a chapel in Bogotá dedicated to the Virgin of Montserrat, thus linking Colombian devotion to this venerated figure in Spanish Catholic tradition.
