
Juan Ernesto Santiago
Juan Ernesto Santiago was a young businessman and active member of the Dominican Republic's Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM). Tragically, he passed away while attempting to rescue two children from the Haina River in Santo Domingo Oeste, managing to save one child but ultimately drowning alongside the other. At 35 years old, he was a father of four and remembered for his respectful and entrepreneurial spirit. He was also an enthusiastic participant in motorsport, competing in Racing Sedan and Turismo Nacional categories, and was involved in the management of the Speedway Park, now known as Autódromo Las Américas.
