Juan Ferrario

Juan Ferrario is an Argentine biologist and researcher affiliated with the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and CONICET. He specializes in Parkinson's disease and has explored the neuroprotective effects of yerba mate. Recently, he gained attention for discovering and compiling previously unpublished documents by Nobel laureate Bernardo Houssay that detail Houssay's investigations into the health effects of yerba mate during the 1930s and 1940s.
