Juan Francisco Muhlethaler, known as 'El Conejo', was a talented Uruguayan footballer who played as an offensive midfielder during the 1970s and 1980s. He was born on December 17, 1954, and began his career at River Plate before moving to Wanderers, where he helped the team achieve significant success, including a historic qualification for the Copa Libertadores. Muhlethaler later joined Peñarol, one of Uruguay's biggest clubs, and had stints in Ecuadorian football. After retiring, he transitioned into coaching and sports commentary, but his life was tragically cut short when he passed away in Ecuador, where he had lived for many years.
