Juan Ignacio Rodríguez Araya

Juan Ignacio Rodríguez Araya was recently appointed as the executive president of the Instituto de Desarrollo Rural (Inder) in Costa Rica by President Rodrigo Chaves, but resigned just a week later following revelations of his communications with a suspected drug trafficking leader, which raised serious concerns about his integrity and suitability for the role.
