Juan Manuel Gómez Arenas

Juan Manuel Gómez Arenas was a 34-year-old civil lawyer, known for his work with GTR Abogados S.A.S, a law firm he represented in Chía, Colombia. With over a decade of experience in law, Gómez Arenas was tragically murdered in his office on July 3, 2023, by two assailants armed with a silencer. The incident occurred during a meeting, where he was lured under the pretense of discussing a legal matter. Despite having no prior threats against him, his family and investigators believe the killing may be connected to his legal work, with authorities currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this shocking crime.
