Juan Pablo Vega López was a 25-year-old man from Bogotá, Colombia, whose body was discovered on August 5, 2023, in the La Vaca wetland after being reported missing on August 2. Known by his community as a healthy and hardworking individual, he worked at a local supermarket and was well-liked by residents. Investigations suggest that he may have drowned after consuming alcohol during a night out with friends.
