Juan Rodríguez Reina

Juan Rodríguez Reina is a former director of Investigations of the Uruguayan National Police, serving from 2023 to 2025. He has extensive experience in various specialized agencies such as Interpol and organized crime units. Currently, he is involved in the creation of a regional agency aimed at combating transnational crime in collaboration with the government of Italy and other Mercosur member states. Rodríguez Reina has been vocal about the need for political action against the rising threats of organized crime, corruption, and the infiltration of political institutions.
