Judy Oyama
Judy Oyama, born on October 22, 1959, in Santa Cruz, California, is a legendary professional skateboarder who made history by becoming the oldest female skateboarder to be recognized by the Guinness World Records at the age of 64 years and 326 days. She began her skateboarding journey at the age of 13 with a handmade skateboard from her brother, quickly falling in love with the sport despite the lack of female representation. Her enduring legacy includes being inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame in 2018 and having her 1970s helmet displayed at the Smithsonian Institution.
