Julia Amess

Julia Amess is the widow of Sir David Amess, a Conservative MP who was tragically murdered in 2021. Following her husband's death, Julia has faced immense personal grief and health challenges, including a stroke attributed to the trauma of losing her husband. She has been supportive of her daughter Katie's efforts to seek accountability and answers regarding the circumstances surrounding David's murder and the actions of the Prevent strategy in monitoring his killer.
