Júlia Antalová

Júlia Antalová is a courageous individual whose life was transformed by a complex spine surgery that took place after years of suffering from severe scoliosis. Diagnosed at a young age, her condition deteriorated over the years, leading to complications that severely impacted her ability to breathe and live a normal life. Despite warnings from doctors about the risks of surgery, she persevered and underwent the procedure at over forty years old, which ultimately changed her life for the better. Now, she is dedicated to raising awareness about scoliosis and inspiring others with disabilities through her personal story, which she is chronicling in a book. Júlia proudly refers to herself as the 'titanium girl' due to the titanium rods and screws that now support her spine.
