Julián de Lizardi

Julián de Lizardi was the first Jesuit to arrive in Tarija, Bolivia, contributing to the religious and cultural development of the region. His presence marked the introduction of Jesuit influence in the area. Recent archaeological findings indicate that his possible remains could also be found in the crypt beneath the Metropolitan Cathedral, alongside other notable figures.
