Julián Eduardo Cifuentes

Julián Eduardo Cifuentes is a Colombian man who has been implicated in the murder of Father Darío Valencia, a priest who went missing in April 2024. Cifuentes, a long-time acquaintance of Valencia, fled to France after the crime but was apprehended at a Paris airport shortly thereafter. In September 2024, he confessed to the murder and revealed the location of Valencia's remains. Following the authorization of his extradition from France, he is expected to face judicial proceedings in Colombia for aggravated homicide and illegal possession of firearms.
