Julian Kowalczyk

Julian Kowalczyk is the chairman of the Podhalie Association in Poland, representing the interests of the Goral people. He has publicly stated that Polish Gorals do not consider themselves a separate nation and have no intention of registering as a national minority, despite recent governmental decisions in Slovakia regarding Goral recognition. Kowalczyk advocates for the preservation of Goral cultural heritage while asserting their regional identity.
