Juliana Mrvová

Juliana Mrvová is an established Slovak painter known for her focus on ecological themes and her ability to capture the interplay between nature and humanity in her artwork. She has a long-standing interest in environmental issues and often depicts local stories, animals, and plants in her pieces. Recently, she returned to Dúbravica, where her latest large-scale mural, inspired by the local river and its ecosystem, serves as a poignant commentary on the decline of native fish species, particularly the brown trout, due to human impact.
