Julien Gallet

Julien Gallet is recognized as the founder of the Gallet watch brand, which dates back to 1826. Though Gallet is lesser-known today, it has a rich history, having produced significant timepieces, including the stopwatch used for the Wright brothers' first flight. The brand fell into obscurity after the quartz crisis but is now being revitalized under Breitling's ownership, as part of a strategy to offer a more affordable line of watches.
