Julien Viala

Julien Viala is the bassist and vocalist of the French punk band Rancoeur, which has gained recognition for redefining Oi! music by incorporating post-punk elements. Following the Covid-19 lockdowns, the band shifted their sound to what they call 'Cold Oi', blending traditional punk energy with darker, melancholic melodies, and distancing themselves from the genre's historical far-right associations.
