Julieta Salem de Kattán

Julieta Salem de Kattán, known as the 'Lady of Altruism', was a prominent Honduran philanthropist who dedicated her life to improving the lives of children in Honduras through her foundation, Amigos de Guarderías Infantiles, which she established in 1973. She was celebrated for her significant contributions to education and culture in San Pedro Sula, where she also co-founded various artistic initiatives and social organizations. Her legacy includes numerous awards for her humanitarian efforts, and she is remembered fondly by the community she served until her passing at the age of 95.
