Julija Hunjadi de Keteljija
Julija Hunjadi de Keteljija was born in Vienna as the daughter of Hungarian Count Ferenc Hunjadi de Ketelji. She became the wife of Serbian Prince Mihailo Obrenović in 1853, earning the title of 'kneginja srpska.' Their marriage, initially marked by love, faced challenges due to political pressures and personal conflicts, ultimately leading to their separation in 1865. Despite her tumultuous relationship with Mihailo, she remained a significant figure in Serbian society, actively participating in cultural and charitable endeavors. After Mihailo's assassination in 1868, she mourned him deeply, and later married Count Karl Arenberg, although she had no children in either marriage. Julija passed away in Vienna in 1919.
