Julio De Gracia

Julio De Gracia is the director of protection of human rights at the Defensoría del Pueblo in Panama. He recently gained attention for his role in addressing serious allegations of human rights abuses during a state of emergency in Bocas del Toro, where a report indicated multiple instances of excessive use of force and arbitrary detentions by law enforcement.
