Julius Bio

Julius Bio is the President of Sierra Leone, having assumed office in 2018. He is a member of the Sierra Leone People's Party (SLPP) and has focused on issues like anti-corruption, economic recovery, and social justice during his presidency. Bio's leadership style emphasizes dialogue and cooperation, particularly in addressing regional challenges in West Africa. Recently, he succeeded Bola Tinubu as the Chairperson of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), where he aims to build on Tinubu's efforts in fostering regional stability and addressing pressing security concerns.
