Juls Budau

Juls Budau is a Victoria resident and a master's degree candidate in social work who has been using a prescribed regimen of hydromorphone to manage her opioid dependence after previously relying on street drugs. Following the death of her partner, she sought treatment that allowed her to stabilize her life, resume work as a research assistant, and engage in recreational activities. However, recent changes to British Columbia's safer supply program have raised concerns about the future of her treatment, as new requirements could significantly alter how her medication is administered.
