Jung-Im Shin

Dr. Jung-Im Shin is an epidemiologist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, known for her research on diabetes, obesity, and the implications of emerging treatments for type 1 diabetes. Recently, she co-authored a study highlighting the significant increase in the use of GLP-1 medications among individuals with type 1 diabetes, despite the lack of clinical trial data specifically addressing their safety and effectiveness for this group.
