Juracy Alves Prudêncio

Juracy Alves Prudêncio, also known as Jura, is a former military police officer in Brazil who has been implicated in organized crime, specifically for allegedly leading a militia in the Baixada Fluminense region. He was previously convicted of homicide and association with criminal organizations, receiving a sentence of over 20 years in prison. After being released to serve his sentence under conditional release in 2023, he has been under investigation again as part of the police operations targeting criminal syndicates in the area.
