Juraj C.

Juraj C. is a 72-year-old man who was convicted of terrorism for attempting to assassinate Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico in May 2022. During a public event, he fired five shots at Fico, seriously injuring him. Juraj's actions were motivated by his dissatisfaction with Fico's political decisions, particularly regarding judicial and media policies, as well as military aid to Ukraine. Despite his claims that he did not intend to kill Fico, a court classified his act as terrorism due to its political nature, resulting in a lengthy prison sentence. His mental health was also called into question, with reports indicating a diagnosis of multiple personality disorder with narcissistic traits.
