Juraj Štefanka

Juraj Štefanka is a seasoned Slovak hockey coach and former player, recently appointed as the head coach of HC Nové Zámky in the Slovak Hockey League. At 49, he brings a wealth of experience from playing in both the Slovak and Czech leagues, as well as stints in Russia and France. Prior to his new role, he coached junior teams at HK Nitra, marking this position as his debut in coaching at the senior level. Štefanka aims to establish the team in the league while managing fan expectations for a swift return to the higher tier.
