Jürg Capol

Jürg Capol is a former cross-country skier and the CEO of the Biathlon World Championships in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. With a vision to turn the event into a celebration of biathlon, he is also set to become the Nordic Director at Swiss Ski, where he will oversee the development of biathlon among other disciplines. Capol is dedicated to enhancing the sport's popularity and reach, particularly through initiatives aimed at engaging youth in biathlon through school projects and community involvement.
