Justin the Philosopher
Justin the Philosopher, also known as Saint Justin, was an early Christian apologist born in Samaria around 105 AD. Renowned for his pursuit of truth, Justin studied various philosophical schools before converting to Christianity. He became a prominent defender of the faith, writing several apologies that argued against the persecution of Christians. His advocacy gained him respect in Rome, where he sought to protect fellow believers. Unfortunately, his efforts led to his martyrdom in 166 AD, as he was executed for his beliefs. Revered as a saint, he symbolizes the fight for justice and the protection of the oppressed.
