Kadijatou Keita

Kadijatou Keita is a resilient advocate for sickle cell awareness, having transformed her personal battle with the disease into a platform for education and support. Born and raised in The Gambia, she has overcome immense challenges to earn a master's degree in Public Policy and serves as a Policy Manager at the Washington Medical Commission. As the former Vice President of The Gambia's Sickle Cell Association, Kadijatou uses her experience to inspire others, challenging misconceptions about sickle cell disease and emphasizing the importance of community support and education.
