Kail Bates

Kail Bates was a 67-year-old man who was executed by lethal injection in Florida on a recent Tuesday, marking him as the 29th inmate executed in the United States in 2023. Bates had spent over two-thirds of his life on death row after being convicted in 1983 for the murder of 24-year-old Janet Renée White, whom he abducted and fatally stabbed in 1982.
