Kaj Hake

Kaj Hake, an 80-year-old resident of a nursing home in Kungsbacka, made headlines after being left stranded in the snow for an entire night following a routine hospital visit. After being dropped off by a medical taxi, he was unable to reach the entrance of his home due to heavy snowfall, which left him exposed to freezing temperatures overnight. His son, Johan Hake, expressed concern over the taxi driver's decision to leave his father unattended in such hazardous conditions, highlighting a failure in communication between the hospital and the nursing home. After being discovered in the morning, Kaj was taken back to the hospital, where he was treated for hypothermia and later developed pneumonia.
