Kamal al-Hassan

Kamal al-Hassan is a former head of Syrian military intelligence, currently operating from exile, where he focuses on building political influence rather than direct military action. He is associated with the 'Western Syria Development Institute' in Beirut, which appears humanitarian but is involved in lobbying for international support for Alawite areas in Washington.
