Kameaka Duncan Pottinger

Kameaka Duncan Pottinger is the chairperson of the Caribbean Association of Medical Technologists (CASMET), representing over 500 medical lab workers in Jamaica. She has recently been in the news for highlighting the severe delays in Pap smear results due to a critical shortage of cytologists, emphasizing the importance of timely cancer screenings and the diminishing interest in medical laboratory studies among students.
