Kana grew up in Gunma, Japan, where her parents ran a ski lodge, inspiring her love for baking from a young age. After years away from her dream, she returned to her roots and opened Akipan, a bakery in Pyrmont specializing in shokupan and honey toast, where she combines traditional Japanese techniques with innovative flavors.
