Karim Aga Khan IV
Karim Aga Khan IV, born in 1936, was the 49th Imam of the Nizari Ismaili community and a prominent philanthropist. He is known for his efforts in promoting development and education through the Aga Khan Development Network, which operates in over 30 countries. A graduate of Harvard University, Karim was also a passionate advocate for cultural pluralism and a supporter of the arts. His leadership marked significant changes within the Ismaili community and highlighted the importance of social responsibility.
