Karima Lince

Karima Lince is the National Director of Water Security at the Ministry of Environment (Miambiente) in Panama. She has been actively involved in addressing the challenges of water management in the country, advocating for integrated watershed management as a core aspect of national resilience. During the Water Forum 2025, Lince highlighted the necessity for a collaborative governance approach, emphasizing that effective water management requires the participation of all societal actors, including local governments, the private sector, and academia. Her work focuses on transforming fragmented water governance into a cohesive and effective system, addressing critical issues such as deforestation and disorganized land occupation in watershed areas.
