Karissa Young

Karissa Young is a prominent student leader at Pallotti High School, serving as the Student Council President for the 2024-25 academic year and as one of the school's Prefects. On Mental Health Day, she passionately addressed the importance of confronting stigma surrounding mental health issues and advocated for understanding and compassion towards those facing challenges. Young highlighted the significance of the school's Peer Helper Programme, which empowers students to support one another, and she called for a more inclusive approach to mental health in society.
