Karl Hermann Frank
Karl Hermann Frank was a high-ranking SS officer and the head of the SS and police in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia during World War II. After the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich, he orchestrated the brutal reprisals against the village of Lidice, resulting in the massacre of its inhabitants and the destruction of the village as a form of collective punishment.
