Karl Koort

Karl Koort is the development manager of the Bioforce biogas plant located in Ebavere, Estonia. He has been in the news for discussing the operation of a flare system designed to safely burn biogas produced at the plant, which occasionally results in visible flames. This controlled burning is a safety measure to prevent methane from being released directly into the atmosphere.
