Karl Malden

Karl Malden, born Mladen Džordž Sekulović in 1912 in Chicago, was a prominent American actor known for his powerful performances in both film and television. He won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in 'A Streetcar Named Desire' and became a household name through his work in the series 'The Streets of San Francisco' alongside Michael Douglas. Malden was proud of his Serbian heritage, often incorporating his real surname 'Sekulović' into his roles. He remained a respected figure in Hollywood until his passing in 2012.
