Karla Cristina Giacomin

Karla Cristina Giacomin is a 57-year-old Brazilian geriatrician who teaches specialization courses in Gerontology at PUC Minas and UFMG. She coordinates the National Front for Strengthening Long-Term Care Institutions and was recognized by the WHO as one of the world's 50 leaders in promoting healthy aging in 2022.
