Karla Valle

Karla Valle is a Salvadoran artist residing in Oregon, known for her intricate embroidery works inspired by the illustrations of Maya Salarrué in the book 'Cuentos de Cipotes' by her grandfather, Salvador Salazar Arrué. During her recent visit to El Salvador, she donated a collection of her embroidered pieces to the Museum of Word and Image (MUPI), aiming to connect new generations with Salazar Arrué's literary legacy.
