Karol Hirman

Karol Hirman is a former Minister of Economy in Slovakia and a member of the non-parliamentary party Demokrati. He is known for his critical stance on government policies regarding state-owned enterprises, particularly in the energy sector. Recently, he has publicly criticized Prime Minister Robert Fico for allowing the Energetický a priemyselný holding (EPH) to gain majority control over Slovenské elektrárne, arguing that the government had the opportunity to maintain control over this strategic asset.
