Karol Pazúr
Karol Pazúr was a Slovak lieutenant who played a notorious role in the mass execution of ethnic Germans near Přerov on June 19, 1945, shortly after World War II ended. He led a group of armed soldiers that forcibly removed nearly 300 individuals from a train, falsely accusing them of collaboration with the Nazis before executing them in what has been recognized as one of the largest massacres of German civilians in post-war Czechoslovakia.
