Allegedly in his 20s, Hussain played a significant role in modifying biometric scanners to accept fake fingerprints, enabling the gang to bypass security measures of the Aadhaar system. His expertise in manipulating technology contributed to the fraudulent activities, which included the creation of counterfeit documents and tampering with personal data of over 1,500 individuals across several states.
