Kasymkhan Aldabergenov

Kasymkhan Aldabergenov is a 99-year-old veteran paratrooper from Kostanay, Kazakhstan, who bravely fought in World War II, participating in significant battles across Hungary, Austria, and Czechoslovakia. Born in 1925, he enlisted at just 17 years old and has since dedicated his life to preserving the memories of his fellow soldiers, sharing their stories and his experiences as a soldier. Aldabergenov is also known for his deep connection to Kazakh culture, often performing traditional music on his homemade dombra. As he approaches his 100th birthday, he reflects on his wartime experiences while eagerly anticipating the upcoming Victory Day celebrations.
