Kate Mitchell

Kate Mitchell was a dedicated British charity worker for BBC Media Action, known for her commitment to international development. Originally from Whitley Bay, North Tyneside, she worked in several African countries, including Ethiopia, South Sudan, and Zambia, where she focused on empowering local media organizations. Tragically, her life was cut short in November 2021 when she was murdered in Nairobi, Kenya, while working on a project. The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, leading her family to seek answers from Kenyan authorities.
