
Kateryna Andreeva (Bakhvalova)
Kateryna Andreeva, also known as Bakhvalova, is a Belarusian journalist and political prisoner who, along with video operator Darya Chultsova, was arrested in November 2020 while covering a memorial event for activist Roman Bondarenko. She was sentenced to two years in prison in February 2021 and later received an extended sentence of over eight years for alleged treason against the state, amid widespread criticism of the Belarusian government's crackdown on dissent.
