Kateryna II

Catherine II, also known as Catherine the Great, was Empress of Russia from 1762 until 1796. She is credited with revitalizing Russia, expanding its borders, and fostering the age of the Russian Enlightenment, though her reign also involved significant military conflict and the expansion of serfdom.
