Katherine DeCelles

Katherine DeCelles is a professor of organizational behaviour at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. She is known for her research on workplace dynamics and bias, particularly how societal attitudes impact employee evaluations and earnings. Her recent work includes a study published in the journal Nature, which highlights racial bias in five-star rating systems used for gig workers and suggests that switching to a binary rating system could mitigate these biases.
